DWWP About Town: June 2014 Edition

We’ve got a handful of shows for you to check out and also wanted to let you know about a couple of other internet places you could read more from our writers:

June 9, 7 p.m. at O’Shaugnessey’s Public House Elizabeth Gomez will be performing a second time at Is This a Thing? This month the show revolves around “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. Elizabeth is going to discuss her actual experience in Tokyo during the 2011 earthquake.

June 16, 8 p.m. at Martyr’s – Elizabeth performs at the premiere of Louder Than a Mom: You’re Grounded! Find out what an asshole Elizabeth use to be and kind of still is.

June 17, 8:30 p.m. at Black Rock Anita Mechler will be reading at this salon style live lit talent event at The Pungent Parlor.

June 25, 8:30 p.m. at The Abbey Pub – Elizabeth is going to an open mic for some stand up material. It’s an open mic but lots of fun especially when you see her drink too much, get on the stage, and then sit down to take a nap.

Also here are some of the other blogs our writers have!

Kate Dunn: The Mirth Canal

Elizabeth Gomez: One Bad Momma

Kim Nelson: Ponytail Up

Kirk Novak: Pretension Headache
