Anita Mechler is a librarian & archivist by day and a writer right before a deadline. She has told stories at Story Lab, You’re Being Ridiculous, for the Self-Publisher’s of Chicago, Story Corps, The Cat Diaries, Is This a Thing?, Stoop-Style Stories, Sappho’s Salon, and Feminist Happy Hour. She likes to avoid writing by painting, rubbing elbows with colleagues in her field, hanging out with her cat, watching Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries while in the bath, and dreaming about the Mütter Museum.
